ANDRES BONIFACIO (November 30, 1863- May 10, 1897)

        Today is a non- working holiday in commemoration of the birth anniversary of one of the most important figure in the Philippine History. He was known as "The Father of Philippine Revolution". Here are some of the informations I've read and researches as a way of remembering him as one of  Philippine heroes.

ANDRES BONIFACIO

Early Life
Andres Bonifacio was born in Tondo, Manila on November 30, 1863.
His parents were Santiago Bonifacio and Catalina de Castro.
Son of a government official.
Grew up in the slums.
Orphaned early.
Earn a living as a craftsman and clerk-messenger and agent of foreign commercial firms in Manila.

Marriage

Bonifacio was married twice.
The first wife was Monica, who died of leprosy.
His second marriage was to a certain girl named, Gregoria de Jesus of Caloocan.
                                                        The wedding was conducted under Catholic Rites.
The Katipunan (Kataastaasan Kagalang-galang na Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan)
Formed the Katipunan on July 7, 1892.
A secret society open to both peasants and the middle class.
This movement aim to achieve Philippine independence through revolution.
The meeting was attended by Bonifacio, Valentin Diaz, Teodoro Plata, Jose Dizon and others.
By 1896, the Katipunan had over 30, 000 members and functioned at the national, provincial and municipal levels.

Death

Aguinaldo ordered his arrest and charged with treason and sedition.
He was tried and executed on May 10, 1897.

A LITTLE LOVE

         When I was nine years old, one of the best song that I could remember is this one. I sing this when I am alone. Most often I isolate myself to others because I hate comparison. At that young age , I knew that love can melt even the hardest rock! That if we will just open our hearts, forgiveness will be easy. There will be no moments of hatred...only moments of hope!

           As a child I have a very simple dreams. To finish my study and work. But then,  working is not as simple as I imagined. Now I want another work and another place to spend most of my time. 

Three Pesos(P3.00) Happiness

     We decided to take our son to a real horse ride or locally called calesa ride going to Marupit, Camaligan , Cam.Sur.We just have to pay 3 pesos going there, a real wonder for a 2 year old child. He sat infront together with the driver, observing the movement of the horse. It was the only rides left here in our place which  haven't change in looks and in fare.Preserving the traditional transportation since our grand grandparent.

      It has taken us about almost 8 min. to reach  the place then another 8 minutes to get back to the city. It was a joyride.At least , I have forgotten my work, we just relax and grasp the opportunity while our son is still young and needs the attention of a real parents.

The Advent Wreath

             Today is the first Sunday of Advent. This is the time when the Advent Wreath is placed and blessed by a priest during mass.
            In our local community, I observed four candles three purple and one pink, the white is not included.Every Sunday one candle is being lighted.

Urinalysis Result II

      For seven days I have maintained my water intake and obtained the dosage of antibiotic for my UTI. On the first two days of medication, I immediately experienced betterness in my urine, its not painful and not yellowish in color. I knew then that the antibiotic is effective for me.
    To make sure that everything is doing well inside, I have to undergo another urinalysis test today. I just read and interpreted it , and here's the good news:

Blog's New Theme!!

           I have read and explore other blogs along the way since August, I really  learned and enjoy some of the articles posted.Interests, hobbies, politics,  religion, school activities, gardening, kinds of trees,  others are personal opinions regarding a certain issues or a certain personalities, some are promoting sites who can help bloggers improve their status financially.Alluring, but I haven't tried any. I am also working and dreaming to improve this blog to make its content valuable and readable.
         I want  to  focus on school subjects  that would facilitate the students/ pupils learning by just visiting this site, they will be able to research and print informations regarding a certain topic.It would need and demand more time on my part, but on the other side, it would be challenging. At the same time it would be my personal archive.
       Despite  this plan, I would still continue to posts articles that  caught my interests.And perhaps I wouldn't be changing the title because this is my life and this is my moments of life...

Urinalysis Result I

Starting Monday of this week I had suffered from hips and back pain,and I presumed that my bones might just be dislocated. I went on teaching, I just bought some pain reliever to ease the pain.The pain becomes stronger and there is also pain during urination. Such a strange  and eerie feeling. I am not a sickly person and I don't presume any untoward health problems. But then, bacteria excuses no one.I cannot bear the situation anymore, so I went  to San Antonio Laboratory to have Urinalysis Test and here's the result:

               Upon reading the number of pus cells present in my urine, I knew then that i have a urine infection. I look for a doctor, presented my urinalysis test result and told me that I really have a UTI. I have to take an antibiotic, twice a day for seven days. Zegen Antibacterial, 500 mg.
              The symptoms if you have this kind of infection are:
                  1. Cloudy or bloody urine which may have a feel or strong odor.
                       I have a cloudy urine but not bloody, that's fearsome.
                   2. Low fever.For three nights I have to take a bio- flu.

                   3. Pain or burning with urination.I really had suffered from this.

                   4. Pressure or cramping in the lower abdomen( usually middle) or
                       back.This cause me  too much  fear. Its so painful, that I have to walk 
                       slowly, and I want to lay down most often.
                     
                It may be a simple Urinary infection, but it was a nightmare, thinking that it would be something else, thinking that I might be robbed of my life at this age when my son is only 2 years old.Now, I'm a little relieve. I can experience changes in my urine, and there's not much pain.I still have to be more watchful for the next few days, and have to maintain my water intake to ensure immediate wellness.

EFFECTIVE VIRUS

          Two weeks ago, I have downloaded a program for my new printer .The installer included in the product cannot be read by my computer. So I seek the help of the internet, I downloaded an installer for that printer, what appears in my program is a different one and from that time on, my computer does not run well.It has been reformatted for three times this month because after inserting a USB , an automatic scanner will run to test the possible virus, then the computer after virus detection, immediately shuts down.

           It has become a burden to me because I have to bring the CPU again and again. I become virusphobic, I don't want to insert any gadget to my cp for fear of losing all my files again.Here are my observation and experiences of virus-infected computer:

             a.  I cannot start Windows Task Manager.

             b. My computer stops when I use Microsoft products.

             c. Programs that used to run stop responding frequently.

             d. My computer runs very slowly.

             e. Mozilla Firefox crashed and prompted me to send report.

             f.  Some CD's cannot be read by my computer.

            I had suffered really. I lost all the files and pictures that I have saved in Drive D.The technician explained to me that it needs to be reprogrammed and even my Digital Cam and Usb's had been scanned. I am now virus free and at the same time file and picture free.I lost everything. A new beginning. 

                I am just thinking if it is possible to virus the viruses?

Life Has No Choice ...sometimes!

         We look for something different each day. An event to happen, a person to meet,a place to explore, a new book to read, a new recipe to try or perhaps a new job. We desire for change, but most often why do people stay and endure....because of simple reason: Life has no choice...sometimes!
          Some people are not effective on their works because they have no choice to leave unless they want to sacrifice their family. We need to live and we need to work, despite the odds of life.
        But then , our reactions to what we have and  where we are is our CHOICE, thanks God, we have a choice! You may have arguments with office mates, you may have loss your money, or you may have forgotten who your friends were, still you can be happy. Emotionally we can have choices, that's the truth!!
        I would like to relate a very important matter to me that happen two weeks ago, when we were competing for the 2nd Congressional Meet for the event of chess. The picture below shows the position of the pieces where we have to decide for a stealmate because the game has been in progress for almost two hours and there are still games for the next hours. I, as coach have no choice but to reconsider my player's situation. I decided not to risk more time anymore. Both have strong defenses and the opponent, though has an advantage of one piece( a pawn)we decided to end the game. It could be our winning moment, but then I have made my decision and it was the best decision that I had because I can see weariness in  their eyes . The next game were all losses. At the end of the day, we choose to be happy. We're ready for possible fights...next year, huh!!
