Just Remembering Time

      I remember my post last January, as I was praying and hoping that everything will be fine for the new year.I cannot just decipher how things had fly and changed all of a sudden.Here are some of the wishes I had:

• House renovation
• Immediate process for my change of name 
• Be approved in blogger's adsense this year
• Fast approval of my promotion

   What happened first is my change of name, then approval of my promotion , that happened during summer, between April & May, then early October, unexpectedly I was able to earn money for house renovation.I was able to raise 40 thousand pesos or maybe more.I was able to see changes today. Good enough to continue with my journey.
    I didn't wish to enroll for masteral degree, but I was able to study for the first semester and had our finals yesterday. Thank's God that I am able to handle all of these.I hope that I can pursue my graduate studies and enjoy the experiences I had with new friends and acquaintances.
     

MORNING HAS BROKEN

       We're happy to wake up early this morning and decided to walk around the community. The air is so cool, that I almost forgot  we're in the Philippines. It's really an awesome feeling to be unusual sometimes.To plan some exciting things as early as you can. The cloudy skies above us did not hinder  from continuing our journey. We have to recharge and prepare ourselves for new challenges hangin' around the corner.

I remember the line from Ralph Waldo Emerson regarding thankfulness:

For each morning with its light,

For rest and shelter of the night

For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends. 
We human beings are sometimes vulnerable in life, we hurt easily. Despite it all, we have to continue loving ourselves, understand the way of living and get inspired with little things that surrounds us.The way of life may sometimes robbed us with the moment of happiness, but this should not despair us.

As we move on, we were amazed of these flowers . The leaves seem to be tiny and a very ordinary shrubs but its flowers speak it all. I have a great feeling of relaxation.
I remember the lines I have recited when I was ten:

Each little flowers that open,

Each little birds that sing,

He made their tiny colors,

He made their tiny wings!
If given a chance to talk to God, I would thank Him for this wonderful creation that truly inspires me each days of my life.

 On our way home we find this: a resting butterfly. I waited for sometimes for it to open its wings, but perhaps its is also trying to protect itself from the coldness  outside.
   According to Nathaniel Hawthorne:
Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
Just true. Happiness is just around the corner waiting for us to unveil the secret. Happy morning!
 

A MOMENT OF PRAYING

        It was an ordinary day so we decided to take an ordinary walk but along the way there's something that has truly amazed me, had caught my attention and had inspired my day. I had seen many grotto's before, but not like this one. It was built creatively using bamboos and rocks with different colors that accentuate the entire look. It seems perfect . God is really everywhere, just waiting for us to open our eyes and see the wonders around us.It was very timely because October is the month of Rosary.

       Have you ever wondered why Catholics are praying the Rosary? In my own benefit, I pray the rosary to seek for peace, for guidance and strength.There were moments in my life that I relied on it, hold on to it. Miracles could happen if you have faith and have sacrifice for the sake of the Holy Spirit.

       There are other reasons why people from all walks of life should start Praying the Rosary. We need help, divine help. We can never be strong if we relied so much on our strength. I remember what I've read about the Greatness of God from Sirach :

        The Lord, who lives forever, created the whole universe, and he alone is just. He has given no one enough power to describe what he has done, and no one can investigate it completely.Who can measure his majestic  power? Who can tell the whole story of his merciful actions? We cannot add to them; we cannot subtract from them.There is no way to comprehend the marvelous  things the Lord has done.When we come to the end of that story, we have not even begun; we are simply at a loss for words.

        

       

A RAINY AFTERNOON

On the way home at Saturday afternoon I got this one. Am trying to think of the past few days that we had experienced in the hospital with our son, then suddenly I was inspired by this gumamela flower near our church, despite the heavy rains, it remains still..maintaining its freshness and beauty. Just telling me that unexpected circumstances comes every now and then; be strong for tomorrow can be: another rain? It doesn't really matter what kind of weather we have in our lives, what matters most is your reactions, your acceptance. Flowers remain silent despite everything, so why can't we.

An Inspirational Story About Life

       Life really has many struggles and it depends on us  whether we will face the storms or turn our backs on it. A few weeks ago, I was facing a decision of accepting or refusing the position as District Presscon Coordinator ( with 17 schools comprising our District ) thinking that it would be an additional load for me, that it might just consumes my time and effort, but  despite the negative thoughts that rumbles in my mind, I finally decided to accept it . I might be pressured, criticized or perhaps challenged  but I would  still be working on it, no matter what. I have to overcome my fears and jump over the rocks of unexpected circumstances. Trials are blessings and out of that grows my  strength!!
